Keith Olbermann; An American Cry for Help

Feb. 24: In a Special Comment, Countdown’s Keith Olbermann shares his personal experience with a real life ‘death panel’ situation and scorns the unfairness of health insurance in America.

I’ve been struck by the fact that people  can say, in effect, “I don’t want my fellow country-men and -women to be able to take care of themselves” for purely ideological reasons. I can only say they are stupid. Those who object because of the monetary costs, are misguided in their priorities. Those who object for both these reasons, gain from schemes that oppose these reasons and are funded by people who have a vested interest in maintaining the status quo; HOW CAN YOU LIVE WITH YOURSELF.

Just wanted to say that, I will try to write an argument when I have the time. Make sure you watch the video. <Sorry about the video, apparently can’t embed videos in WP. The link is http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3036677/#35572842 >

BTW: I’m not American and have never lived there, I’m just an interested person who has benefitted from living in a country with publicly-provided healthcare.
